Do I have to pay for the initial consultation?
All clients are entitled to a free 20 minute consultation. This is our initial fact finding meeting, and is all about us finding out what you need. If you don’t want to proceed there is no obligation.
Do I have to pay before or after?
Our apartment search package requires an initial deposit for us to begin looking for your flat, and then the full remaining payment with VAT is made on completion of the service. The visa information package is paid after the free 20 minute initial consultation upon signing of the agreement.
Are you immigration lawyers?
Expats In Wonderland GmbH are not immigration lawyers or legal service providers. We are registered with the Berlin business immigration office, and offer interpretation and general information about German visas and residency. For cases that require an immigration lawyer, we refer you to our partnered lawyer or a publically available resource to find one.

Yes! We are a multi-lingual team. Between us we speak English, German, Croatian, Finnish, Spanish, French and Italian. If your English isn’t great, don’t be shy, just get in touch in your native language and we’ll use the power of Google translate until we can find an interpreter.
